About Us

Paradise Jeans Australia is the slightly louder, lower-rise little sister of Paradise Leura.

Paradise Leura was founded by Jo after a lifetime in fashion. From growing up surrounded by sewing, beading and embroidery, to working with major Australian and international labels and travelling the world sourcing fabrics and designing collections. She knows good clothes, good construction and, perhaps more importantly, when something is worth buying.

Then there’s her daughter, Camille.

Camille grew up around the shop, became the resident jeans fitter and eventually decided there simply weren’t enough good 2000s-style jeans in Australia. Specifically, the low-rise, bootcut, embellished, unnecessarily fabulous kind.

So, Paradise Jeans Australia happened.

We’re a small, family-run business based in the Blue Mountains, NSW, specialising in Y2K and 2000s-inspired denim, clothing and accessories. We stock pieces we genuinely love, including hard-to-find denim brands, statement belts, babydoll camis and all the other things the early 2000s got very right.

Jo brings decades of fashion knowledge. Camille brings an alarming amount of knowledge about low-rise jeans and spends far too much time on the internet. It works surprisingly well.

We’re also big believers that jeans should actually fit properly. If you’re unsure about sizing, rise, leg length or what cut will suit you, message us. We would much rather help you find the right pair the first time than have you staring at a size chart questioning every decision you’ve ever made.

Everything here is personally chosen by us. If we wouldn’t wear it, we don’t stock it.
